Did you know that one in every five young people experience mental health challenges? While some youth get effective treatment and are able to function well, far too many suffer alone.
Too often, people feel afraid to admit that they are struggling with their mental health. This fear of prejudice and judgment prevents people from getting help.
In the last few years we have come a long way and finally, mental health is becoming part of our conversations. But there is still work to be done.
